Are you looking for a great opportunity to join one of the UK and Ireland's largest independent Travel Management Companies? 

We are seeking experienced consultants with a travel background to join our team.

Job Purpose:

You will be part of a team of business travel consultants responding to travel requests from SME’s, Government bodies and the Higher Education sector across the UK and Ireland. You will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to exceed our service level agreements and fulfil our customer requirements by providing the highest level of customer service and best value for money. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team arranging worldwide travel for corporate & business accounts within commercial, government, education & local authorities

• Provide expert travel quotes and creative travel itineraries 

• Ensure all quotations meet client needs and reservations are booked in an accurate and timely manner in line with SLA’s

• Providing in depth knowledge of destinations, tour operators and suppliers 

• Know your customer, listen to their needs and conduct yourself at all times in a friendly and professional manner 

• Deliver exceptional customer service and make sure all requirements are accurately met each and every time in line with client needs 

• Act as an ambassador and key point of contact for the client during their travels before, during and after 

• Using a GDS booking system / other reservation system 

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
• Ability to work under pressure and to precise time frames is paramount
• Operation of GDS (Galileo) is desirable
• The successful candidate will be able to work self-sufficiently, as well as part of the team

The following skills are desirable; working in a corporate booking travel environment, knowledge of tailor-made trips, booking and changing multi sector and multi product itineraries. 
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the travel sector

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Account Manager to join our team to generate sales leads to secure new business and support activities to secure the retention of existing accounts in line with business needs and overall strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to Business Strategy, agree clear objectives in line with the business plan and monitor progress, offering support and guidance as required, ensuring delivery in line with expectations.
  2. Set the standards and consistently seek to deliver Exceptional Customer Service each and every time
  3. Take the lead for managing the relationship for new sales, ensuring the delivery of consistent client experiences.
  4. Drive Contract Review processes; providing subject expertise, analysis and insights, as required, to ensure delivery in line with client expectations and SLA’s.
  5. Generate and follow up on leads to provide high quality appointments to secure new business
  6. Liaise with Marketing to ensure the necessary collateral and key messages are reinforced to the target market to increase awareness in line with the brand promise.
  7. Attend networking events to secure new potential business development contacts.
  8. Maximise conversion rates to secure high value business in line with business strategy and goals.
  9. Work with senior colleagues to agree on realistic SLA’s that can be met in line with client needs.
  10. Gather market intelligence to inform sales tender approach.
  11. Maintain contact and undertake regular informal and formal client reviews as required.
  12. Monitor market and identify tender opportunities and ensure their submission with agreed timescales and specifications.
  13. Seek to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in all sales administrative forms and processes.
  14. You may be required to undertake any other duties within reason and competence to meet business needs.

Skills & Experience

  1. Experience with client Account Management
  2. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  3. Bid Writing
  4. Computer literacy, specifically Excel
  5. Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
